Designing a new Northeastern Entrepreneurship Website Experience
Northeastern University’s Entrepreneurship program asked me to redesign their Homepage, Offerings, and About pages. The existing site felt flat and static, with long scrolls and basic navigation that didn’t reflect the program’s energetic and innovative spirit.
Lack of Energy and Inefficient Navigation on Northeastern’s Entrepreneurship Website
The original entrepreneurship pages for Northeastern had a flat, static feel with long-scrolling pages, dense text blocks, basic filtering, and minimal visual energy. This failed to reflect the dynamic, innovative spirit of the program and made it difficult for users to efficiently discover opportunities across the Homepage, Offerings, and About pages.
Energizing Pages with a Modern, Interactive Redesign
Redesigned the pages to transform the static and uninspiring experience into a vibrant, high-energy digital platform that truly reflects the innovative and dynamic spirit of Northeastern’s Entrepreneurship program. Process & Approach: Started with a moodboard to establish a bold color palette, energetic imagery, and dynamic typography Built a sitemap to reorganize content and create smoother user flows Designed the pages in Figma with interactive elements such as hover effects, animated transitions, enhanced filters, and expandable sections, along with stronger visual hierarchy and clear calls-to-action Result: The redesigned site now feels exciting and motivational while making it 3x more efficient for users to discover programs, resources, and entrepreneurship opportunities.
